Auburn police Department

Welcome to the Auburn Police Department. I hope you find our site helpful and informative. The Auburn Police Department is committed to working together with the community to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for those that live, work, or visit the Town of Auburn. Our police department currently has 21 employees that are each committed to providing the highest level of police services. We accomplish this through our relationship with the citizens and our philosophy of community policing and customer service. Our department values emphasize the importance of being leaders in the community and building relationships based upon trust and confidence.

I encourage you to explore our site and learn more about our current programs we have developed with the community. Through these programs we learn more about the needs of those we serve and they in turn better understand the challenges we face in policing the community. It is my desire that through this site you will be better informed about upcoming police/community events, crime enforcement, state and local laws, and the many services that our agency provides.

During the month of May the Auburn Police Department in conjunction with NH Highway Safety Agency, will be taking part in the “NH Clique” Seat Belt Campaign, conducting Enforcement Patrol. In addition to the law that requires all children under the age of 18 to wear a seat belt, and that all children up to the age of 7 or 57 inches or more in height to be restrained and properly secured in an approved child passenger safety seat, we urge ALL vehicle occupants to wear a safety belt.
